The six nominees were: Marcelos Bustos, Four Points by Sheraton, LA Westside, Lindsay Butcher, Courtyard by Marriott LA, Michael D'Amodio, Residence Inn by Marriott, Beverly Hills, Richard Gaines, Kyoto Grand Hotel, Rod Gruendyke, Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas and Martin Nicholson, The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa. The receipt of the award, was Michael D'Amodio. Event chair, Margie Johnston, also announced that over $4000 was raised at the silent auction during the event, benefitting St. Joseph Center of Venice, CA and the Hospitality Student Program of the HSMAI LA Chapter.
